How to Play

• Rank all 4 teams 1st through 4th in every group (A–L).
• Pick the team you think will finish the group stage with the best aggregate goal differential.
• Pick the team you think will finish the group stage with the worst aggregate goal differential.

No tiebreaker on the props — if you pick the correct team you get the full 20 points, even if other players pick the same team.

• Matchups for each round are populated for you automatically as the tournament progresses and the admin records results from the prior round. You don't build a full bracket up front — you pick one round at a time.
• Round of 32: all 32 surviving teams are eligible. Pick a winner for every match.
• Round of 16 and beyond: you can only pick from teams you correctly picked to win in the previous round.
  • Both teams on your winners list → pick either.
  • Only one team on your winners list → you can only pick that team.
  • Neither team on your winners list → no pick allowed, 0 points for that match.
• Total goals (both teams combined) is required for every knockout match — even matches where you have no eligible team to pick. It's used for tiebreakers.
• Each match locks 5 minutes before kickoff. Once locked or final, picks cannot be changed.

For every knockout match (Round of 32 through the Final) you predict the total goals scored in that match (both teams combined). Required even when you have no eligible team to pick.

Your "Difference" score on the leaderboard is the sum of absolute differences between your predictions and the actual goals scored. Lower is better. The player with the smallest total difference wins any tie.
